Meet Our Pastors
Joshua Winton
Pastor
Joshua and his wife Bree have been serving in the Metairie community since May of 2025 when they were sent out of St. Rose Community Church to plant a new gospel preaching church in Metairie. Before pastoring Bridgedale Community Church, Joshua served in a variety of ministry roles in the area and he has a passion for preaching God’s Word, shepherding God’s church, and seeing the gospel proclaimed in Metairie and to the nations. As a social worker, Bree also has unique opportunities to see the gospel go forth through her work. Joshua enjoys golf, hunting, fishing, and cooking.
Darrin Godbold
Pastor
Darrin and his wife Natalie are lifelong residents of this community and have 6 children. Darrin is a local business owner and in May of 2025 was affirmed by Bridgedale Community Church to serve as a lay pastor. Darrin is passionate about teaching God’s Word and discipling young men as they mature into manhood. Darrin enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.
Cory Barnes
Pastor
Cory Barnes is married to Kayla, and together they have 3 children. Cory currently serves on faculty at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and has a passion for theological education, both in the academy and local church. Cory enjoys hunting, fishing, backpacking, gardening, and spending time with his family.
